I live in MD, right outside of DC and Taylor's Pork Roll is right in the bacon and sausage section. You can find it in a roll wrapped in cloth then plastic or in a box of 8 slices. It has a slightly salty, strong flavor like ham that's been curing for a long while. A few slices on a toasted english muffin with a strong coffee in the morning, you'll be set 'til lunch.

Pretty cool. I just read many of the "Taylor's Ham" memories, submitted by displaced New Jerseyites on that site. You'll get a pretty good idea of what the Ham's like by reading a few of these. As others have mentioned, it's not the healthiest meat in the world but I enjoy it sparingly, and it's delicious. But, no more than a few times a year.
