What a load of crap that fight was. As Herc would actually blink at getting hit with a table. And Wolvie getting his claws stuff in a wooden table? Are you serious? Blah.
Nice to see Perez on inks for a change.

I think the table had some sort of stone top as wood tends not to crack like that, but it's a valid point.
Which brings me to a question about Hercules' durability. Is he, or Thor for that matter, supposed to be bullet-proof? I remember being surprised when seeing bullets bounce off of Namor in a comic. These guys are known for their strength but how resistant to damage are they supposed to be?

I always thought that bullets could penetrate their skin, but they were unlike to travel much further. As strong as they are, these characters never claim to be bulletproof. At least that's what I thought after reading the issue where Thor got stabbed by the Crusader, who just happens to be a crazy guy with a sword.

Yeah, but him stabbing Thor is like me trying to stab a rhino with a toothpick. Crazy, I tell you.

I seem to recall Thor usually does the shield-thing with spinning mjolnir in front of himself whenever being shot at.
I doubt he would bother if his skin could resist the bullets.
Could you picture Thor being stunned by a clean blow to the face by Captain America or Spider-Man?
