Weta LOTR is back!!!

Weta is going to be producing 1/6 LOTR again, and is apparently looking for project input from collectors. Very exciting, as there were characters that were not developed previously, and more exciting is the possibility of true 1/6 scale representations of some of the larger beasties. I don't know anything, so don't take anything that I am saying as confirmation that a certain character or line of characters will be made, but I am optimistic based on the size of the Azog the Defiler on Warg statue.

At 1/6 scale the Balrog would still be over 3ft tall, so I am not holding my breath on that one, but there are other possibilities that are almost as exciting. 24" Cave Troll would be worth getting the second job that I would need to pay for it

Pretty excited about this development myself.

The 1:6 scale Weta LOTR line was one of my first I got into when I started seriously collecting. At one time I had most of them but sold off a lot of my collection after they stopped producing pieces and some of the Sideshow PFs topped them. Still, I kept my absolute favorites, 13 statues to be exact and I look forward to adding to those with some quality pieces in the future.
