... and now she's basically kicking me out of my own office. Takin' my laptop and my lap-desk, and leaving the rest until summer's over and I move back in.

She just got done reamin' me for having my v/a scripts and cd's all over the place.. IT'S MY DAMNED OFFICE!! Hahaha. Basically I have this room and my man-cave to myself, and the rest of the house is hers (it's 1900 square feet, so we don't exactly live in a box).

Sometimes I love bein' married.. she's "mad" at me right now because I refuse to move my desk out of here. It's a 200 year old desk that was passed down from my Dad's side (starting with his grandfather)... gorgeous Dark Oak... I don't move it any more than I have to.
Hey, at least you have two rooms. I have a two story house with 5 bedrooms, my wife has one of the rooms for her crafts, the others are occupied with my kids and a mother-in-law. And my garage is filled with my brother-in-laws sh!t.

She's "not allowed" to do ANYTHING with it... it was my offer to let her share my office with her to begin with (it faces the back of the house, and is on the bottom floor, so it's cooler temperature-wise, plus it's a darker-hued room, which also keeps it cooler)... I just think it's funny that sometimes offers are taken a bit "out of context", so-to-speak. She thinks I meant to swap offices with her, when in fact I just was offering to let her share mine during summer months since hers is a furnace (a furnace with a view, though.. haha).

I KNOW what I told her, and my offer couldn't have been misconstrued.... I think she just wants my office (fat chance, it's right by my man-cave.. haha).

Not a big deal, we don't have miscommunication all that often, but when we do.. it's brutal and/or hilarious.. haha.
