I think some websites actually listed it at 1:1. They probably figured, "close enough".

I was waiting on the light up Kotobukiya version but as that might never come out, I was really considering this one. However, her seemingly closed eyes bother me. Plus, there is a drawing of Cortana with Master Chief behind her that I wish was made into a statue.

Sorry to pull up an old thread, but this is a great looking statue. I didn't realize that her eyes were closed on these, which is a bit of a shame I think, but I still love the look of it. I've been looking to add one to my display for a while - If anyone can help me out, please let me know

Even on eBay it's hard to find this statue now. WETA had a clearance sale a year or two back, and since then this one has pretty much disappeared.

There's been quite a few on eBay pretty steadily ( http://www.toytracker.net/weta/track...a.html/TTSW594 - although the most recent few arent showing up there yet) - the last one I bowed out of bidding on when I was told that I should bid very high because he had offers of $15,000 for it, so I wasn't sure what my chances of actually getting it sent to me would have been even if I won at the going price

$15,000?! That has to be a joke. I would wait to see what Sideshow hopefully has in store for us. I gave up on the Kotobukiya version.

I have one of these, and despite it not lighting up, it really is a lovely sight.
Sure Weta dropped the ball not lighting Cortana up, as that would have seriously driven this peice up even further.
Nevertheless, So glad its getting the attention it deserves now.

That's a good idea. If anyone feels like they might be upgrading though, I'd be happy to take the Weta versions off your hands - I'd really love to be able to pick one of these up before Christmas time
I love the display samhain81, is that in one of the Ikea Detolf cases?

If Sideshow was really on their game we would have Quorra and Cortana light up statues previewed by now...
