Swimming Pool (2003)
7.5/10

Both Charlotte Rampling and Ludivine Sagnier are good playing their playing their respective roles.
My only complaint might involve the 98 minute run time. There are moments when the story progresses a little too fast.
I felt that there was a 2hr 30minute story to be told.

After watching this, I recommend La Piscine or its remake A Bigger Splash which tell a similar, but more satisfying story about a swimming pool scandal.

Justice League: The New Frontier (2008) - In the 1950s, a new generation of superheroes must join forces with the community's active veterans and a hostile US government to fight a menace to Earth.

A very good adaptation of Darwyn Cooke's excellent book. Even though I can watch it anytime on MAX, I'm tempted to also buy the Blu-ray. 8/10

Bottoms (2023) - Two unpopular queer high school students start a fight club to have sex before graduation.

This movie is VERY dumb, but also very funny! 7.5/10

River's Edge (1986)
7.5/10

Stars Keanu Reeves and Dennis Hopper. Both put in good performances.
Dennis Hopper is particularly good playing the part of crazy Feck.

The movie held my attention for all 100 minutes, and that's testament as to what a good move River's Edge is.
