Style A all the way

Use the amazing aesthetic that you have in these figures.

Also so great to see you back on the message boards Jerry.

Style A. Realistic like Hot Toys is the only way I would dip into the line at least.

What would this qualify more under? Style A or B?

It's only missing double elbow joints (& maybe knee joints) to qualify for a more dynamic posing figure, yet looks like an HT level body.

Might not have to change a thing & release that. Style C .....

Direction A hands done, Jerry. I'd rather have the amazing detail over articulation any day!

That would be closer to Direction A as there is no way this figure is doing a Hadouken

To do a hadouken the elbow joints will be much more visible and the torso joint probably also more visible.

However , its the feet that cause me the most dilemma. If you look closely this figure has articulated toes so you can balance him better and get the feet flat when you spread the legs.

Why does Ryu have to be doing a Hadouken? Its played out already. How about his spinning, whirlwind kick which was always one of his most powerful moves. So many ways you can pose him without a Hadouken pose. Just my thoughts.

He doesnt have to be doing a Hadouken, but from a technical perspective, its the most difficult pose to achieve with a figure as the person is crunching/squishing together their body and plastic figures do not compress like a human.

So its used as the 'goal' of a super flexible figure

As paul pointed out, for less articulation, you have the statues for that.

So go all out and try to apply the sculpting skills over top of great articulation.
And as you mention, the Hadouken pose can be one of the most difficult. So image coming up with a setup that can achieve such a range of motion and still show off the PCS sculpting side of things.

How can you have a Ryu figure that can not be placed in a Hadouken pose, what's the point?

Need to be able to pull off...

Style A. Look at Enterbay's NBA figures for examples of how to ruin a great looking figure with badly exposed joints.
