The word "value" is confusing. Are you talking about their cost? If so, I'm not sure what your point is. For them to profit, yeah, cost would have to be half or less than retail. I would think that would be the case with most businesses.

Just watched the video for this guy on the SS site. Man, he looks good. He looks way better than the new Cap and Bats.

It's an amazing sculpt. Truly an awesome piece. However, it is made of plastic. I just feel the price tag is way too high for a plastic statue.

Honestly, though I'm a huge fan of Swamp Thing, this version could be made out of pure gold for the same price, and I still would be so much more in awe of the Prime1 version that this one wouldn't even register for me. It's a beautiful sculpt, of course, clearly done with love...but have you seen the Prime1 one? Holy crap!!!

Yeah, he’s really good as well. 1/3 scale is huge though, I have to reserve the 1/3 scale treatment for Bats only.
...or if they ever made a Cap.

Such a shame it is PVC because it's a stunning piece. Just stunning.
And FTR, I don't have an issue with PVC. But given we haven't seen it in this scale and this detail, I agree with fellow posters that it's worrisome of the long term durability. Price is not the issue for me with PVC. Not one bit.
