Is Back to the Future popular in Japan?
Saw some Doc Brown and Marty with Einstein from BTTF1 pics on facebook and it seem like they're gonna be Japan exclusive. (or at least maybe they're gonna release it there first or just launch/ announce it there)

Whose Facebook? Hot Toys did release Marty and the Delorean from the first movie. They previewed Marty, Doc and flying Delorean, but those never went up for sale due to the lack sales the first Marty and Delorean.
Not sure why there would be a Japanese execlusive. While Hot Toys does have a store in Japan, it is a Hong Kong company.
I wonder if Hot Toys released the original Marty and Delorean now, would they sell better? Hot Toys is much more well known than back in 2014.

Thanks for providing the details.
I believe Toy Sapien is the official Hot Toys stores in Japan. It’s possible that they will be re-releasing Marty and finally relasing Doc. I doubt it will be Japan exclusive. Just looks they are using one of their official stores as a promotion event. Using Google Translate on the retrospaiens page, there will be exclusive products for sale and it looks like there will be props there. We’ll find out September 18.

Wow! Yay to people who missed the first Marty and want a BTTF1 Doc Brown. Thanks for the link. Guess seeing them on this official website makes them official. Man, that hoverboard prop! Wish it'd be available worldwide.
