I think it all depends on if they have replacements. If no replacements, then would be a full refund.

And I think it has to be a Seconds replacement. Not a regular stock replacement.

They don't really address replacements here, just returns, which is what I did. While I want to believe this, there is absolutely no way this particular piece was inspected before sending to me. The brown shipper was in perfect condition, and the art box was so barely damaged, you wouldn't even know it was a Seconds piece. But, inside, the statue itself was so horribly damaged, I just cannot see this piece being destroyed on the trip from CA to me, with the two boxes so nicely intact.

"Are these items damaged? Are they returns?
Sideshow items may become Seconds for any number of reasons. However, in all cases, the items have been opened and inspected by our team to ensure they are intact and ready to be a part of your collection."

"I have an issue with the product I received. Can I get a replacement or refund?
While we do our best to ensure the overall quality and safe arrival of your collectibles, if your item is damaged during transit and you are unsatisfied, you may return it for a full refund. Please reach out to our Returns team for assistance."

It’s weird, this thread is over 2 years old, and before I grabbed it on Seconds, I only made one post in here.

It’s weird because this is an awesome piece. I couldn’t pass up the discount. It feels like a comic cover coming to life. Plus looking further at it, it feels more like a universal Batman statue compared to say their newest offering. It’s based on a motif and an artist style, yet feels like its own thing. Even if it’s beefy. It just looks wonderful and I’m sure I’m going to be blown away.

Yeah, it's a great piece. I'd take this one any day over the new one. Plus, regardless of how one feels about the story it came from (I personally love it), it is iconic and will always be one of the greatest Batman stories of all time.

Let us know when you get him.

I remember buying the comic at Mile High Comics off Broadway in Denver when I was a kid when they first hit the rack. But I never loved the story. They did a great job with the statue though.

IME they do not offer replacements on SS Seconds purchases, even when they have replacements available (replacements being for full purchase price items).
