It is what it is but it sure was comedic. I had a great time watching it.
I agree totally, just watched this last night with my girl.
Both really liked it.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Dolls (1987) - 7.5/10

Fairytale horror. Superior to the similar Puppet Master.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

godzilla: 5 / 10. what a shame. the trailer was 10x better than the movie. bad acting, bad story, poor casting.

xmen: days of future past: 8 / 10. good movie with strong story. somewhat complicated premise that was explained well. didn't realize kitty had those powers!

Starship troopers 8/10

Chronicle announcing a Rodger young model got me in the mood to revisit this one. It is cheesy as heck and whether it is considered a guilty pleasure or not... I love it. Thanks to the superb model building and practical effects, this one has aged well. Take it for what it is intended to be and it's a great watch. Awesome soundtrack also...

she doesnt have those powers...not in anything outside of the movies that is. In the actual comic book it was Rachel Summers (Phoenix II) who performed that trick

I don't think it's really that cheesy. It's more tongue in cheek stuff mixed with black humor.
