They oversold them initially so they probably don't want to hype it yet till it's closer to release or they show the Batman version and some people drop out from this one.

Good point, but we see it all the time - companies building off of previous success - so it's strange to see a complete radio silence in this case.

My biggest concern is over the likeness to Anne Hathaway. It has to be perfect for this piece, anything less will mean a flop. In my opinion.

I predict it will be delayed anyway.

The likeness wasn’t perfect to begin with. Though I liked it, it’s like they made her appear younger or something.

To be honest I still prefer Queens over JND’s, as I never did like how gaunt it looked, which is why I’ve currently gone with Infinity’s.

That Infinity piece is so on point - it hurts.

It's taking all my willpower to justify NOT getting it. I don't collect busts, so this helps, and then there's the whole - "What type of silicone are they using" debate - which also helps.

But coming back to 1:3 full statues - the JND piece is the best on the market today - and I see the Queen piece as a viable contender if they execute a better portrait - which, going by their current work.....I'm not sure they can do it.

Nothing, and honestly, I'm a bit concerned.

I'm still waiting to get confirmation that the portrait will have removable goggles - as this was never shown, not even at the reveal show they did.

On FB somebody asked the same on a QS collectors page. But other than collectors reacting they are wondering the same no info.

Last time I saw a date it was planned Q4-2022, but the complete silence (no signs of production) is suspicious.

The problem with the statue game is what is happening here with this piece. When it takes months (and more likely years) to get a piece, it is hard to stay too excited about it.
