Saving Mr. Banks - 8/10 - Wow! ... not what I was expecting. Excellent acting & compelling story no matter if it was largely fictional, or not. Lots of solid performances by actors I had no idea were even in this movie.

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides 7.5/10
I actually quite enjoyed this one and the move away from the "Will and Elizabeth" characters was greatly refreshing. I certainly don't think it deserved all the negative press it got when first released. I found it to be a little on the long side, surprisingly at the hands of overly drawn out sword fights rather than some needed character exploration.

I watched this today myself too, and I loved every minut e of it. The last few scenes nearly had me in tears.

Philomena 8/10 brilliant performance from Dench as an Irish woman forced to give up her child by nuns and then tries to find him with the help of British journalist played by Steve Coogan.

Contracted - 9/10
Disgustingly real up until the final twist towards the end which gave a nice spin on an otherwise saturated genre ATM. If anything else it will make every single male who watches it buy extra rubbers.
