That's the good thing about the EX. Best of both worlds.
Personally, I like the EX portrait better. But this statue is so awesome, the REG still kicks ass!

All the Bane PF shirts are painted to look dirty. I have the same look on my PF.

I hate to tell you but his shirt shouldn't look like that. Mine doesn't, it's much neater and the paint application is very clean, just like the photos on Sideshows website. I circled the parts that are definitely not right. It's like the paint is running where it goes from shiny to dull. And his flesh color shouldn't be like that on the shirt. I'd send it back for a replacement.

I disagree, it's distressing, to have a worn, weathered look, there will be variation from piece to piece. as it's done freehand.

Distressing to have a worn look is one thing, but the flesh color on the shirt and the shiny paint that looks like it's running is totally different. That's not supposed to look like that.

Well, I returned mine for a replacement due mostly to this and I am opening the new one tonight. I'll update with the paint app info.

I think you will have trouble making a case to Sideshow about this being a defect or bad piece. The aesthetic determination of good or bad might be tough to justify. In other words, eyes of the beholder if there is a problem or not. Good luck!

It doesn’t look that bad to me. Mine is pretty much the same and I didn’t bat an eye.
