Sorta agree with you. There are some nice touches in the bases (especially Superman and Wonder Women) and they are as detailed as they can be considering the source material. These statues are trading on my love for this era of DC animation. They are all inspired by them which i love. Nearmint were at SDCC too I believe. What are your overall thoughts?

Still not understanding the reasoning behind the seams. Totally throws the flow off. Neither the animated DCD or WB Maquettes that came out years ago had them.

Disappointing on the price and quality of this statue. I was hoping it would be around $300, and that they would of done a lot of characters. Now I can see them stopping the line after the Joker and Harley due to poor sales.

I will say among statues I do think Tweeterhead may be the best value for quality statues I've seen. I'd put their Joker up against any version of the character.

I agree wholeheartedly. I got my Bud and Lou today. Never thought my jaw would drop over two polystone hyena's.

Batman and Superman look like they'll develop leaning issues over time.

My overall reaction is that you can probably find an action figure or PVC figure of this for A LOT less money (and guess what? It won't look that different).

this is the prototype. when you create a sculpture, you engineer it for ease of molding. sometimes it needs to be broken down into many pieces.
in production sometimes they fuse these pieces back together since their molding process is different and can allow for larger pieces.
