17 inches seems a little small but it should look good in a Besta display. I ordered mine.

its 20.5" x 17.5" x 11.8" (H x W x D)
looks cool. but just not sure of this one. specially for that price.
always wanted a Balrog. but not sure if this is the one for me. i want the first one.

Check out my review of the LSB. I think its the best representation of the Balrog to date. Just IMHO.

I wish they had toned down the flame colours. They still have not gotten that design element right. Might have been better to cast the flames in clear resin. Also not a a fan of the pose. The original is far superior.
Smaug looks the business hopefully the price is reasonable.

I missed out on the first one, couldn’t pass on the second. I figure having a $50 per-order discount and them giving you 59.90 Weta Dollars on top of that it is not a bad deal. At 33 pounds this looks to be a heavy, quality statute, not some hollow cast. Early Christmas present!
