Computer geek advice - Antivirus

Question - when you have a PC that has two users set up and you're logged in as one user and run an antivirus scan, do you have to switch users and run it against the other one or does one scan cover all?

Thanks!

It should cover it all, as you are scanning the Hard drives not just user related items...At least thats what I see when I run my Spyware and Anti virus...

But I am not a computer geek...I just stayed at a Holiday Inn!! lol

It covers all. Virus software scans the whole hard drive, so since the other persons files only reside in a different folder, it will get scanned as well.

Thanks all.

It would suck if I had to run another 2 hour scan on the other user. Not that I should have to.. It's my wife's account and she doesn't visit questionable sites like I do.
