TO AMERICAN RESIDENTS

Hey guys

I am tentatively planning a trip to the US next year hopefully.

I want to start looking at places to visit and if any of you can be bothered and have the time, it would be great to "hear" any suggestions you guys have to make about places to go to. Apart from the obvious big cities, I would like to hear about the cities/towns you guys live in and interesting things to do and see in your home towns. Travel books are great but its always good getting info from people who actually live there.

In particular I've always wanted to visit the southern states and New England area.

Another thing I'd like to know is how hard is it to get baseball and football tickets? Does it depend on what teams you want to check out?

Thanks for any info you guys provide

I highly suggest tripadvisor.com

It is a great website and the forums are a gem to receive advice from all the travelers and locals.

Yeah tripadvisor is pretty good. I used it a lot last year when I was going to Europe.

But since most of you are american, it would be nice to hear about things in your cities that may not be very well known.
