Finally, yesterday I found the time and energy required to un_box 22 statues.
(i un_boxed 25 statues, 3 failed to make it into the display due to lack of space)
Two shelves, eleven statues per shelf. It wasn’t the first time the statues had been unboxed. They were boxed up while I sorted out the metal shelves pictured
(see page 28 of this thread if you are interested in that sort of thing).
The statues took some squeezing in. The plan was to position them so that they were staggered, to ensure all pieces were on view. Since I don’t collect full lines, the plan was to group the characters as follows: Top shelf Marvel, Bottom Shelf DC and something I labelled Warrior Woman (women with swords). Ren doesn’t conform to this, and will probably be moved out at some point.
Sideshow - Gamora PF and Yamato - Luz Malefic ΒΌ both feature in the display. It is the first time I have posted photo’s of these two characters here on the StatueForum
Here are some snapshots I took earlier. I’ll probably end up removing the Captain Marvel comic book, although the Super Girl art print looks ok. Lady Deadpool takes up a ton of space.
