Who dust-proofed their Detolfs?
Hey gang,
I tried doing a search through the collection corner, but I can't find the old thread that I read. Somebody had cut strips of black foam or something and sealed / dust-proofed their cases. Can anybody direct me to the thread? Thanks!
Sincerely,
Your friendly neighborhood Reaper

hmm smart idea, may look into this, also wanting to get air purifiers to cut back on the dust, but for the house I have I will need many and the ones I am looking at run about $400-$500 yikes one day I hope

Foam looks like hell.
I have thought that clear plastic "shower sweeps" might work.
But I have yet to experiment.

I actually think there would be a small market for a dust proofing kit for Detolfs. Someone more industrious then I should give it a shot.
Bare in mind if you have hot lights installed, there will be less airflow to keep things cool inside.

I bought the foam strips but never installed them.
Still not too much dust in the cabinets.

yeah it isn't horrible, better than being out in the open, I have alot of 1:6 figures in mine, so cleaning those are more tedious than statues.

I thought about using the foam weatherstripping. Have to see if they have it in white or tan.
