I’ve been waiting for this license for years so I’m afraid they have me. It doesn’t help that while expensive, we are a year to a year and a half out on them coming out. I’ doubt they go super deep in the line outside of what we’ve seen but give me:

1. Legolas
2. Gimli
3. Gandalf and Frodo in a combo piece like the God of War one.
4. Gollum

Those four and I’m set. Maybe an off chance of the mouth of Sauron and then I’m done.

Would have a hard time resisting Gimli myself. Shame Sideshow never got around to him and I’d love to add him to my PF lineup. As long as they don’t get carried away by adding a bunch of unnecessary extras driving up the price.

Well, Weta is making 1/6 pieces. So far they are super detailed and don’t take up a lot of space. A bit pricey for 1/6, but not too bad.

Base is great and I thought I would grab this in a heartbeat. However after the price and 2 heads being essentially the same i will pass. I thought I was going to fo dwep on this line but without getting this piece I will look at other avenues

They are a bit pricey, but then again a lot of their 1/4 scale lines have been around this price range for awhile. Such as their Beserk line for example.

If I wasn’t already tight on space I would seriously consider getting this piece as a stand-alone.

It’s where my LOTR money goes outside of the Balrog V Gandalf dio. Plus if you’re patient you can score a lot of Weta’s pieces at massively discounted prices during their annual Black Friday and Stock Take sales.

Pre ordered the exclusive so far I've loved all the P1 LOTR statues they've put out ...The screaming head has grown on me from first impressions and different angles ...Keen to see some other new teases in this line.
