I can agree with koflach on that Silver Surfer story. It was a very good one.

I would recommend the following as well

The Silver Surfer Omnibus - this reprints the 18 issue run of the Silver Surfer comic from the late 60's.

The Silver Surfer one shot by Stan Lee and John Byrne. The Surfer escapes Earth and goes back to Zenn La

The Silver Surfer #1 through 50. The series started out written by Steve Englehart then Jim Starlin took over. Both runs were very good.

and I also enjoyed Silver Surfer:Black by Donny Cates and Tradd Moore. A good story with very good artwork.

Hope they show the reveal soon, showing a small sign of normality, cause it’s badly needed right about now. May have to wait a long while for actual production and delivery, but a reveal would at least spark our imaginations, and help lift spirits.

He arrives outside the high windows of the Baxter Building and requests a private audience with Reed and Sue. Ben and Johnny watch their conversation from a distance and notice Sue steadily breaking down into tears. Reed makes the Surfer a promise to do everything he can to help him. The Surfer then flies off back, with the intent of visiting his home world, Zenn-La.

Later, Reed tells Ben and Johnny about his conversation with the Surfer, and why Susan was crying. The molecular bonds that make up the Surfer's metallic shell are slowly breaking down. The Silver Surfer is dying!"
Thanks. I'll try it out!

For 1K it would need to be in the "epic" category. Not the "pretty good" or the "Hmm...not bad" category.

Yes. It needs to be the same caliber as Thanos on Throne, Rogue and Juggernaut maquette.
