Yeah, the original normal scale 1/3 Dog is a killer piece, but this may top it?... I need to see more though. You can pretty much 100% guarantee that Warrior & Chap are coming soon after.

I like the dynamic pose more than the first dog alien. Looks like the back of the base will have a diorama of the dog being born.

I'm guessing it'll be a while before we see them revisit big chap, eh? Was never a fan of either pose.

Agreed. And the pose looks really interesting. Not surprised they started with Dog either, gives the other two a chance to settle before striking again.

What do we make of the base? That section of tunnel with the bambi-burster, is that in scale with the adult or will it be a miniature art piece built into the base (like how the Kong and Godzilla busts have mini pyramids and monsters on their bases)?

If it's a mini hidden dio, does that mean the bases won't have the same black trim as the Predator line? Would've been nice to get something in exactly the same style...

Yeah I'm in favor of the matching black trim under bases to match the Preds XL too. It would have a nice aestheticly pleasing uniform look for sure.

Johnny Matsumoto said this collection will have a new direction for the base. I guess I shouldn't be surprised at this point.

Ah, well. If these are well-conceived, I'll be happy to own them.
