If you really detest mixed-media, I guess this would be ok. I find it vastly inferior to the SS PF though. Mythos too. This pose is uninteresting as it gets... and I like museum poses just fine.

Likeness and paint aren't very good though.

Nothing will ever come close to the XM Darth Maul, that piece is just incredible. I do like the concept of this, but will need to see more pics before deciding. I feel one Maul is enough in my collection at this stage.

Sideshow's Mythos craps all over this. Easy pass.

Ordered, keeping the unhooded portrait in box for sure though.

I agree. The concept of the XM is fantastic.

This piece is amazing though. I'd say it's second to XM as far as fully sculpted Mauls go.

Ok, so those teeth look bad. They would be bad for 2002. That wouldn’t be the head I would display anyway. Wish I had the room for this.

I agree but they are different scales so if you want a 1/4 piece in your collection, I think it is either this or the XM and SSC pieces.

This is a master piece. It?s huge too!

Probably going to pass on mythos for this.

I actually love this--the hooded one at least--it looks great and brings me those chills I got when those hangar bay doors opened with the pose. Right now, with the hood, this is my favorite maul statue.

I pre-ordered the mythos last year but I prefer maul with a more stern expression and not looking like a savage animal so I sold it. Same with the XM, incredible piece, but another wild portrait. To some, Maul looks cooler when he's more calculating looking and mysterious. And to others, he ooks cooler when he's rage unleashed. I just prefer this more stoic expression without dirty ass teeth lol.

Pretty awesome
Wish wish they would throw in a serious no hood head though
