Indeed. Full of things that are so UNFAIR at first. But after a couple of days or weeks, you get over it.

Only thing I will never get over is the Champions League Final 99 in Barcelona that ManU won by scoring two goals in injury time. As a Bayern fan, that still hurts, even today.

But we won it two years later, and I was there in the San Siro in Milano, so the loss in Barcelona doesn't hurt so much after all.

Concerning the World Cup, my bet is Italy winning against France in the final.

Which is only fair. Because if you think back.......

1990 World Cup in Italy

Winner: Germany

2006 World Cup in Germany

Winner: Italy ?

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

Personally I would prefer to see France win and perhaps Germany as 2nd favourite.

Main thing is the playing style of the Portuguese and the Italians is defensive and negative, prefer to see the more attacking sides win.

The Germans have to be huge favourits now.

Although always interesting this has been overall quite a poor worldcup imo.

I think the competition level has improved a lot compared to the last world cup, the Korea-Japan fiasco.

What fiasco? you mean bad calls? thereve been plenty around this time aswell and aslong as they dont allow camera registration well have to swallow it, it seems.

All in all there have been very few high quality games where both teams performed well and one came out on top, most big countries underachieved.

The duels still remain interesting and nervewrecking just not many great games.

Yeah, Klinsman was a pain in the a$$ for Spurs, but he isn't part of the squad now is he?

I couldn't agree more! The big countries underachieved big time! Most of the games were quite lackluster. Still a lot of playing not to lose. I thought the most exciting moments in the World Cup so far is when Brazil was pressing desperately in the last minutes against France. It would be really nice to see more offensive play and get rid of diving and that pathetic acting bull****. Then you might have the "Beautiful game", but right now it isn't so "beautiful".
