So if your looking for a mermaid/water type of character, JSC's Mermaid would be the easy choice IMO. While Aspen has some water element to is, it has no resemblance to a mermaid type of character. So I would say go with JSC's Mermaid. Its looks like its going to be a beautiful statue. And the styles for Gallevarbe and JSC's mermaid really couldn't be more different. Gallevarbe is very serious and color wise is very dark and bleak. JSC's Mermaid is brighter and much more colorful and playful. So if your having trouble choosing bwteen those 2, go with the style you like more.

If it wasn't for my 100% ban on all Aspen products, I guarantee I would own all 3. All 3 are absolutely beautiful pieces. As is, I will settle for JSC's Mermaid and Gallevarbe.
