SSC doesn't HAVE to do anything. I'd leave the license alone if they have that kind of say so. I understand having a final say in how a character is represented (hence Red Skull black armband on XM as opposed to the red), but hendering a company from delving into the meat of a license not only hampers the statue manufacturer...but it also deprives the licensor possible notoriety for other supporting characters in their comics / stories / etc.

It's the opposite over here. The sexy chick statues are the only ones my GF pays any attention to. She rolls her eyes at characters like Venom or Hulk, or at Alien/Predator type monsters.

Seriously though, have you guys not noticed the reaction Red Sonja pieces get? The last two each earned an unofficial "piece of the show" award by the community. So why wouldn't they make another one? It's probably not a super expensive license, and it's a single character they can focus on that makes money and gets attention, and that other companies don't seem to be paying much attention to. A total no-brainer from a business point of view.

I want to see more pics of the head first. The lighting in the pic with the special effects makes it hard to see the actual painting. My main concern now is if she looks not too old. We shall see when pics go up. The member who brought this now got it stuck in my head after the latest Newman sculpts.
