Face has absolutely nothing in common with anything we have ever seen in a Rogue comics.

Maybe they should put a fabric cape all over her face so we don’t have to deal with it.

(I am only talking about the failEX head, I actually like the regular head, even though it doesn’t say Rogue to me)

Northern, I definitely grew up reading the comics first before ever watching the cartoons that came after so my appreciation for the EX may be different than other collectors. Although, I can certainly understand the dislike for Rogue's portrait here, but I also know that each of us has different tastes and different opinions as well, that's why this hobby is so great because it allows all of us to pick and choose what we like more of, and we can decide from there whether a certain statue belongs in our collection or not.

I've always enjoyed the comics more than I did the cartoons so that's usually what I remember most about my childhood so that's why I'm more drawn to this particular EX.

I also tend to look for the beauty in something before I classify it as hideous. This is objectively not hideous. By your standard, you must think 99% of the worlds population look like swamp thing.

Truly is, and unfortunately the last 1/4 90's rogue we'll probably see for a very very long time.

For $800+ taxes and shipping included, I don't want to "look for the beauty" in a Rogue statue. She should be innately beautiful.

That's just me though.

This is the only reason I'm still following her. I feel like the piece is *almost* a must have (assuming the production pieces end up with a solid quality). It's just so close. I just wish she had some competition at the 1/4 scale.

I'm an odd duck. My likeness for Rogue came from the 90's TV show but I mained her in the Marvel vs games along with Omega Red. I've backtracked and delved into the comics.

Batman is even weirder. I got into it watching the old Adam West reruns as a kid. Loved the Keaton movies and became a full on fan with BTAS. Enjoyed the Nolan stuff and now have just started backtracking into the comics and novels.

I think I start with TV/movies then work to print.
