To Renew or Not to Renew

We're currently in the process of reprogramming our website for the Premier Guild Membership Renewal Program. This affects those who first signed up in the beginning and were giving a 3 month extension due to expire March 15th, 2008 as well as any members that signed up through March 30th, 2008.

Starting at the end of next the next week, you will be given the opportunity to either renew your membership or choose to opt out of another year's membership and change your status to the regular collectors club. You will receive an email notifying you to log into your account and choose which club membership level you wish to maintain. However, at this time we do ask that you update any profile information, such as billing addresses and credit card information so there will be a smooth transaction for renewal.

If you have any questions, please feel free to either email Customer Service or call at 818-504-3555.

Thank you for your continued support of Gentle Giant Ltd.

Do you guys plan to renew after all those chaotic and stressful incident caused by GG? Is it worth to renew? Because I know some of the members didnt even get anything for the whole year

I received the same e-mail...

I'd better not have to renew yet, though; I didn't sign up until some time last summer.

And I'm not sure that I will when the time comes, either. I guess it depends on what they have to offer.

As of now I have no incentive to renew. The "free gift" doesn't do anything for me because I don't like the Classic line of busts, and I'm no longer collecting prequel stuff anyway. And most of their exclusive SW busts are prequel characters so I'm not regretting the decision to dump my prequel stuff at all.

If they come up with a good enough reason for me to rejoin I will. But for now I'm in no hurry to give them another $50.

My thoughts exactly. There isn't a good reason for me to rejoin at this time.

It's obvious that the majority of those who didn't win any raffles will not renew. Membership will not be as many as last year but might increase if there is a better exclusive down the line.

I think I won 6 out of 11 raffles but I lost the big one.

Do we even know if they are going to continue with the raffle system for con exclusives this year?

I'm holding off until they show something good - Not overly impressed with the exclusives thus far.

Sorry but GG drove me away a long time ago. When they started charging $50.00 a year to join a lottery that was the end for me.
