Any advice on how to repair this Frank Quitely Superman statue?

Hi:

I received this statue in the mail recently, but it was unfortunately damaged. The cape is detached from the figure. I'm wondering if I would be able to get away with gluing it on. It looks like it was originally attached with a metal rod which also snapped. Any recommendations appreciated.

If it fits in cleanly, a few drops of superglue should do it just fine. I have fixed some statues this way and they have been fine. They key is if it fits cleanly and you aren't missing pieces - just make sure you position it correctly.

Try superglue if it's a clean fit (as mentioned).

Just don't do what I tend to do and superglue yourself to the statue as well

as the other two gents said, if it's a clean fit then a few drops of super glue or gorilla glue and press and hold for 60 seconds, should be stronger in fact than original. Good Luck!

It's always nice to leave a piece of yourself with every statue you fix.

My wife has had to help me remove various fingers from 2 different statues now

...now, I'm not allowed to use super glue anymore
