Just When I Thought I Was Out...

Hello friends! Long time no chat - long story short, moved to the big bad city, got super busy with work and play, which took away a lot of art funds, and thought it'd be a good way to step away from the addiction. Didn't work out too well... haha! Happy I got to keep in touch with several of you off the site and thanks to those who reached out.

Anyways, first con I've been to since my hiatus and first time I did all four days for NYCC. I had originally set a budget but blew past it (especially at the auction, even though I got a great deal!) even with a couple items falling through.

Had a great time hanging out with John Braun, finally met Drew in person (and Phil H, not sure if he's on SF), and got to chat with Ken for a little. Didn't get all the artists I wanted but got a couple pieces that I didn't originally plan on so all evens out

Without further ado, the art!!

Chris Giarrusso Avengers piece. Love his frivolous style!

Gerald Parel Planet Hulk (with the feathers burnt off?)

Finally got a Carlo Pagulayan Caiera piece!

Won this for a bargain at the Art Auction! I was a little tipsy from watching the Florida game earlier (sob) so this was an entirely over the budget, unplanned for expense... but it's a Mark Brooks cover so who can complain?

George Perez Hulk v Maestro piece set up awhile ago. So awesome... Actually two pieces but I offered the suggestion to do the mirror image like the covers and George took it and brought it to life.

And my crown jewel from this con: Carlo Pagulayan copic Planet Hulk. I can't say enough how much I love this! It's no secret I'm a huge fan of Carlo's and Planet Hulk so this is a dream commission to say the least.

Comments are always welcome and appreciated:

Amazing haul, so much hulk greatness.

i love that Mark Brooks piece. What did the AH piece go for in the end? There were some awesome pieces in the sale, loved that Walt S piece.
