A new Professor X so soon? I guess it's good for those who missed out on the previous one, or for those who prefer a more realistic looking wheelchair.

Hasn't it been like 3 years? And I think the original was really hard to find since it was one of the first standalones.

Didn't realize it's been that long. The pandemic really messed up my sense of time.

It's been longer than that I believe. Professor X was one of the first 2 (along with Mystique) and LONG before they even announced a Sentinel Diorama. So if you bought them at release you just had 2 random X-Men characters with no promise of a line continuation. I know because I did this. I had them, but they looked out of place and lonely for like a year so I sold them. Once the Sentinel Dio was announced they were super hard to find, and I ended up having to import them from some random online stores.

When I jumped out of this line and sold off my statues, I was able to get over $400 for each Mystique and the good Professor. So it's nice to see alternatives for people that missed the first, but the hover chair version is the best version imo. Maybe this will help that version drop in aftermarket price since there's another option now(or soon will be).

I'd rather have the first Xavier sculpt in this wheelchair. That would have been perfect. This looks more like an old mad scientist to me.

I missed out on the first Prof X so I will likely have to pick this up, since I'm not paying $400 for the first one.

Is this one meant to go with the Sentinels or with AoA? Either way, should fit with the Sentinels fine, even if it's the normal wheelchair and not the hover chair, but I'm perfectly ok with that.

Any idea where this will be available to order?

Now that I think about it, with how rare and hard to find the first Professor X is, you would think they would have made this version a very available release to collectors. But as I read your comment, I realized this is actually going to be a CCXP exclusive. CCXP is in December this year. Usually (don't hold me to it but 99% success rate so far), the CCXP Brazil exclusive items end up being available at Sideshow, but NOT till the following years Sideshow Con.

We JUST got the Sauron, Loki on Throne, Wonder Twins and Witch King of Angmar from LAST years CCXP on Sideshow this past month, so unfortunately you either will have to purchase this online after December internationally, and pay higher pricing, or wait till next July to get a crack at Professor X, DC Scarecrow, Justice Leauge Martian Manhunter, & Yondu w/ Baby Groot.

That would make sense. I'm in no rush so I will just wait, but yea, it's a shame this is another exclusive.

This looks very reminiscent to the X-Men Evolution version. I loved that X-Men cartoon even more than the 90's one, so I prefer this to the original piece.
