I have an update on the Spec fiction - Infinity Studio order.

'..this (the delay) was due to our old distributor. They took forever.
we no longer use them, so all future orders will not be affected.
we order direct through infinity now..'

Same reason I keep getting for a 2+ year delay on a statue

That's not good.

I re_read the email. They mention future orders not being affected, but what the order i placed a year ago?

I think Todd @Spec will come through. I hope so.
As far as i am aware i think the Infinity Studio bust i pre_order has sold out?

I might end up requesting a refund and picking up the bust in question via ebay, as they can be found on ebay.

My opinion of SpecFictionShop is not positive. When i see Todd on YouTube live chats, he seems like a nice enough guy who means well.

i had a delay on a piece as well that was due to the old distributor. Waited awhile but Todd came through in the end.

That's good to hear.
When it comes to Infinity Studio, why wasn't (they are now, apparently) SpecFictionShop dealing direct with Infinity Studio?

With regards to the bust, Infinity Studio supplied the following info:

'We have completed all the shipments of Mera in 2023.
Please contact your seller regarding the release.' - Infinity Studio 5th November 2023


There you have it. I wonder what supplier SpecFictionShop were using?
Either SpecFiction will source a bust from somewhere? ..or offer a refund.

Over the past few weeks i have had some back and forth with Spec Fiction Shop with regards to my order.
I suggested a full refund if they cannot ship the item due to a supplier issue.
Today Spec stated that the item will be in the Spec Fiction Chinese warehouse in 20 days time.

Hopefully in 20 days time (December 10th) Spec Fiction will be in a position to ship my order


I can't lie, as i am having doubts..

Todd at Spec is known to come through.
I remain slightly puzzled as to why a piece that shipped over one year ago to other collectors never shipped to me? That is one long delay.
Long delays are something us collectors do not like.
