It amazes me how great that portrait looked from the front, but the side view looks weird as hell. I found Millers Black Widow portrait had the same effect.

Yeah its odd, its why on second thought the new emma portrait does looks better than the second imo lol.

On the other hand, we should be thanking Sideshow. No need to stress over not getting the Ex and the regular is cheaper!

I think I love it

I'm not quite sure what's happening lately with sideshows female portraits but like Elektra at first I was bitterly disappointed but the more I look at it the more I think this will be awesome once I have it in hand and on display.

I'm even warming to the EX. My only criticism is the cape which looks cheap and would have loved it fully sculpted.

Or maybe I'm drunk..

Same thing happened to me with the recent Black Widow piece. Didn't like the reg head at first but it grew on me and it actually really looks beautiful. Glad I got on it before it went to waitlist.

Yup I preordered the Black Widow Ex with no intention of ever displaying the reg...now I love the reg and can't wait

Maybe this is all part of sideshows cunning plan? reverse psychology
