Its looks to be a huge Goat skull, a well known symbol of Satanism.
I dont know much about her but i guess it goes along with the horror element of the character.

Wow, I had no idea Mark did She Hulk and Gollum. I own She Hulk EX and I frickin' love her! She's awesome. I think Gollum is done to perfection. I don't own him, but I've seen pics and he literally stepped out of the movie, that's how frickin' amazing both likenesses are!!!

I bought the very first issue of Vampirella back in '68 or '69 (I was very young at the time) and continued buying for a number of years. I actually can't remember seeing satanic symbols in the Warren mags. I could definately be mistaken but it seems like it was later on, when it took on a more adult focus, that those kinds of things sprang up.
