Mine was hard as hell to actually turn on. I thought I was about to break it. Both the top and bottom part come off if you turn it and pull down/up.

I thought it would be particularly cool if he had his ring pointing into the lantern and charging it and/or if the ring lit up as well. Sideshow has an interesting way of powering up their pieces whereby the metal pins in the statues that hold it on also serve to essentially plug in the statue to the base which powers whatever light gizmo they have inserted in the statue. It seems reasonable that DC could have reverse engineered this to make a statue where the ring and lantern were powered by either batteries or a plug in and a discrete button or switch on the base.

I am worried that due to the difficulty in turning the lantern bottom to light it up that one day his hand is going to break or the lantern will. Great feature but it just seems the implementation could have been better.

The Lantern was a bit hard in moving at first but it seems to slack the more you turn it on
