Building a new shelf

I built this diplay/book shelf for my nieces.

First cut the wood.


Second, notch for shelves


Third, assemble


Lots of sanding during each one of these steps

Here it is finished. It's actually 2 shelves. They can be seperated for the top section to be mounted to a wall.


Here's their collection.


I might add some mirror to the backing later.


Here's our oldest neice. Younger one posed for a second and then just wanted the camera.

VERY nice work!

In the third pic...behind the unit you made....is that a regular flannel shirt, or more of a winter lined outerwear piece????

Winter lined outerwear piece...He loves these things, lives in them 2/3 of the year.....
