Horizon Flash (Solid Resin Version)

I just got this piece on ebay and I know I'm going to need help making it stand up. Does anybody have any helpful assembly advice ?

There was never a "Resin" version of this kit, but it was commonly recast and sold as one.

It is a resin kit. I have one, with all Horizon paperwork that came inside.

Just "google" Resin Model Kits. There are a ton of resources for builders online including a bunch of step-by-step videos on YouTube that take you through every phase of kit building. Most of the hobby sites also have "how to" stickies.

The original kit comes with a plexiglass rod that you place under the knee. You can also do some surgery and put a bent rod or nail through the leg and foot.

I'm OK on basic assembly. I just need helpful ideas specific to maintaining the precarious leaning forward position for this one. I have the steel rods but I have seen some that were constructed with no rods.

Bolt

I have this and a bolt was placed into the foot and secured through a hole in the base. The statue is pretty solid with this setup.
