Jimei pieces look amazing. Footprint seems pretty big though. I've only recently learned about them. Would love to see them do Luffy soon.

These have the look of unlicensed statues and I don't mean that in a good way....
Nameplates, effects all over the place, it's a mess of design.
Ah well, the search for good One Piece statues still continues for me. I have yet to see a good one.

80% base. 20% statue. Unusual. Wild. I'm amazed they survive the postal journey.

Pretty usual for anime statues as anime in general is effect heavy and and character design (especially faces) isn't as detailed so it fit's perfectly. Just think of as a single character diorama ;p They aren't new either, Tsume and Figurama do the same thing (again, anime statues). Also I have quite a few statues like these, while breakage does happen (there are a couple that are famous for it, like a pain statue) I've actually yet to receive one with an issue (other then USPS losing one) unlike many western statues. They just pack a lot better, and do something which more statues should do where they stack levels of styro (or foam packing material which these types often come in). This helps cut down space quite a bit. Also these will come in quite a few pieces I'm sure. I believe P1 has recently done a statue like this. What really surprises me is how much better of a paint job these are then statues we get from western companies and usually a fraction of the price (not these, jimei is pretty expensive).

I think these look amazing but if you like less effects then try the Unique Art studio ones, they are based off the log covers.

Does anyone have any thoughts on the One Piece statues? I'm considering the Kaido statue and maybe Kizaru. I'm not sure if I want to pull the trigger on these yet though. Is there another good thread for One Piece statues?

not a lot jimei collectors here unfortunately
join Jimei palace collectors group on fb maybe, although most people there just think every jimei statue is perfect, which is far from truth
I own doflamingo, had enel and first aokiji, but decided to sell, got kaido and second kuzan on PO
