C'mon guys. I'm as big a fan of traditional special effects as the next guy, but how about we try and be just a little more objective.

It's not just about practical vs CGI here, it's also the movement. He appears to speeding through a dense jungle in a straight line, but the bike and the guy are barely moving about. He should be weaving around and bouncing all over the place.

Maybe the velociraptors have been slightly genetically altered to not eat humans, or bred in some way over several generations to be less violent towards humans and trust them more, let's not automatically dismiss the notion that a velociraptor couldn't be domesticated in a similar way to how dogs were. Or maybe he raised them from eggs feeding them fish from his mouth, hands, and they view him as their mother. I can buy that.
Actually, the smoothness of the motorbike ride not withstanding, I kind of like the idea of the raptors running along with him, not chasing him because they want to kill him.

In JP the velociraptors are described as being extremely intelligent and being able to communicate amongst themselves as they co-ordinate attacks. It would stand to reason that based on this, and going along with the Sea World type theme park they're basing JP on, the velociraptors could be trained not unlike dolphins I would imagine. Not to mention after trial and error of genetic manipulation they probably removed the ultra violent sequences.

I am just going to enjoy it as a form of entertainment. What movie now days doesn't raise questions or make you brow-beat them?
I love the Jurassic Park franchise. I don't care about the actors, I am going purely for the dinos.

Hopefully he/they are being chased by something bigger.
Either way, I'll be there opening night/weekend.
