Watched it yesterday with my 12 year old son. We enjoyed the movie a lot. A few obvious reminders of the other movies, not all the actors were equally strong but all in all a fun experience that brought back memories.

Jurassic World now has the crown for best opening weekend of all time at $208.8 million.

Saw it on Saturday and enjoyed it very much. My 8 year old was on the edge of his seat with excitement.

I'll be in the minority, but not so good for me.
Too much silly stuff going on for me to buy in.
Hated the kids unlike the first. Just badly written in
to me in many areas. Yes CGI can look good but alone that's not enough.

Maybe some day they will do Xenozoic Tales or Age of Reptiles.
Both of those comics would be awesome films especially Age of Reptiles.

Wow...here comes the barrage of Dino films...can you say "Ice Age 4, or is it 5". "Land before Time 8", "Dinosaur 2", "We're Back 2", etc. and of course..."Jurassic Galaxy" to be followed by "Jurassic Universe". I'll be going to this film and I'm sure I'll enjoy it, but sometimes the sequel train gets a bit stale. Oh well, as they say, there are only so many original stories to tell. Eventually it's all retreads.

You are not the only one. I think it's an overhyped piece of crap with all possible nods they could come out with to the original movie. That was a masterpiece this ain't.
The lack of animatronic dinosaurs apart from the dying apatosaurus is a huge knife in the nuts too.
We were very disappointed.

Jurassic Park is easily one of my favorite movies of all time. That said, I think "masterpiece" is a stretch. That movie isn't without it's faults.

This is a fun movie - took my daughter and a friend to it yesterday - it was as close to the excitement of the first one that they have ever done. Surprised it took the title seeing as when Speilberg made the announcement no one really cared... at all - but in the last few months the hype grew like crazy! Glad it lived up to the hype and was an entertaining movie.
