haha, as usual my stance of ignoring the vote of anybody with one of the competitors as their avatar proves valid....funny how that rule only seems to need enforcing when the hulk is the avatar in question

It's still the whole speed thing for me with the Flash, Kryptonians, Gladiator, Silver Surfer, etc. They could complete so many devastating attacks, while someone with speed like the Hulk is still trying to figure out what just hit him 500 times before he even threw a punch, (granted Flash's 500 punches wouldn't have the effect of the Kryptonian's, Gladiator's or the Surfer's. Or, they could burn a hole through his whole chest and out his back before he could even move to stop them. He couldn't lay a finger on them, and they could finish him. I know that the Hulk has super speed to some degree. He can run 200 miles an hour, but even that is like stop motion compared to the speed of the Kryptonians and the others mentioned above. If they were written consistently, and properly, there is almost no battle they wouldn't come out on top of, barring a fight with one of the Celestials, and some of the top tier heavy hitters who can mess with reality. The problem with that is no one wants to read about a fight that ends in a few seconds, so they totally ignore the speed factor so often, like Flash slipping on marbles dropped on the floor. This is so annoying, as he could literally run between every marble with ease, or even vibrate through them. How do you take someone by surprise that can move at 10 times the speed of light? Answer...you couldn't.
