Not really as the piece is back in the box
I am sure i will pop once i find a home for the piece.
..and that will not happen until i move house and work on a new display

Tomb Raider / Lara Croft: Snow Day PF by Sideshow Collectibles

This cool piece arrived recently
I have always wanted to add a Lara Croft statue to the gaming side of my collection..
While there are a number of Lara Croft statues available, i have always had a thing for Snow Day
I think it has something to do with the base, the sort of base i could not imagine happening in the current statue climate.
Most Lara Croft statues tend to show Lara in action, jumping, shooting, fighting. Snow Day shows the explorer side of Lara. I like the concept of Lara taking a break, sitting on her travel cases, complete with flask, checking out her surroundings, map in hand

I managed to pick Snow Day up for a normal price. Being located in the UK ='ed zero import fee, and very low postage

On the subject of the statue, it looks great!
To some degree the statue paint app looks slightly dated. Given it is a gaming piece, the portrait paint app works well.

Always loved that Snow Day statue. I have bid on it a few times but never came close to winning. Great collection you have, wish I had thought to document mine along the way.

Congratz to Lara... I also got this piece and it’s amazing. It’s not to large and even she got her snow suit on she is super sexy... The base also is really nice. Lets see how you displaying her!

They are not all that rare. Finding a good price is the difficult part.

That’s just it, I see it come up but so does everyone else and it’s always gone for more than I want to spend. But then I don’t have any other game statues so I should probably leave it alone. Always liked the piece though.

Aquaman PF EX by Sideshow Collectibles

Some out of the box shot's taken using a Samsung S22

This particular 1/4 Aquaman has been on my want's list for quite some time.
Not so long along, Nearmint mentioned on Rogues Gallery (Batman Statue Collector YouTube channel) that he has his Aquaman PF EX statue for sale.
Needless to say, i jumped on the chance..

The statue arrived today 25th July 2023
All in all i am super happy with the piece.
This is THE Aquaman piece for me

Other than the overly plastic looking seaweed, i have no complaints with regards to this statue.

Nearmint is known for not using display cabinets.
Aquaman arrived 100% free of dust other than the base, which was covered in dust. I could not quite work this out?
Using a face brush and hoover, the dust issue on the base was fixed in no time
