Still looks meh to me. Tired of seeing Terminators fighting one another. It’s pure spectacle, zero suspense. They should’ve went back to the franchise’s roots pitting humans against the unstoppable killing machine.

sadly the roots have at this point been dug up, salted and burnt. the franchise really should just be left alone.

Terminators are supposed to be unstoppable killing machines? Someone should have told Tim Miller. The new terminator(s) in the trailer gets its @$$ kicked over and over again. Not very threatening.
Movie recycles ideas and plot points from Terminator, T2 and T3.
Grace is looking to have the hallmarks of a Mary Sue.
And overall the trailer just looks boring and unoriginal. This movie is looking like it will be a chore to watch like Dark Phoenix

I almost walked out it was so bad and now wish I would have. Wow it was a disaster on so many levels. Cringe bad for most the movie.
I’m actually sick to my stomach after watching it. Hated it, worst Termintaor movie by far.

Was Arnold in it much or was it pretty much an all-female Terminator movie?

Arnold was in it more than I thought but even he couldn’t save this one. I can’t post spoilers yet but still smh...didn’t care for the last one either.

I liked it. Arnold is fully in the second half of the movie.

I enjoyed it. I’m old enough to have seen the first one in the theater. This one goes for the same beats of the first two films, and that of course is a good thing. Plenty of references to the first two films.
There are always plot issues when it comes to time travel movies, and this one is no different, but I found the structure decent and it was great seeing Linda Hamilton back.
There are a couple of plot contrivances that had me going, “Okaay.”
I thought the action sequences were well choreographed.
In these strange days of politics and society, there’s definite themes in the film that touch on immigrants and “girl power.”
The introduction of Arnold’s character raised as many questions as answers, but you either flowed with it or not get past it. I chose the former, and found myself entertained. Arnold still has a great presence on film.
Humor was “hit and miss,” but I found myself laughing a few times from Hamilton and Arnold.
Now, onto “Ford v Ferrari” in a couple of weeks.
