It doesn't look like shazam is looking black adam in the eyes, if you display these together,
It's more like he is looking at his waist?
ofcourse i'm not sure..

I don't think they're intended tp face each other on display - they are both leading with the left should forward so that would mean one of them would have his back to the viewer.

I think for display purposes you kind of angle them towards each other but not face them head-on.

XM Shazam

XM Studios just release the PO date of 01 July 2020 for both Shazam and Black Adam with ES at 499. Personally, I love the concept of Shazam but kind of hope it was 1/4.

Ouch, that's going to hurt the old wallet having to pre-order both of them on the same day.

I don't get why they don't "phase" the releases; maybe even have an estimated calendar for PO dates:
-1st July - X char
-1st August - Y char
-1st September - Z char

I believe they might see a slight bump in sales; if collectors know what's coming they can plan ahead. I know that this is hard to plan for an extended period of time, but having a 4 month release calendar doesn't seem a stretch.

You'll have to dish out at least 1k for both Adam and Shazam. It's 1k for two 1/6th's, and that makes it even harder to justify. I know that you have a pretty generous PO window in which you can place your order ... but you never know if the statue is going to be a hit and fly off the shelves (and these two might be just that considering they're pretty low-key in the statue world).

The only way I can justify the current release mechanisms:
- Competition! You don't want your competitors to know when you're going to release new statues so you can be the first one on the market with a "shiny" new character. Thing is; you already release a lot of renders before time and we kinda know what's coming ... we just don't know when.
- Impulse buys! You might talk yourself out of buying a particular statue if you have plenty of time to think about it. So dropping news about a release in just 2 days time will hype people and some will impulse buy.
- Licensing & Production! They just don't know when a particular piece is going to be approved for production (in that case, XM&WB should up their communication) and if the factories they work with have the bandwidth to take any new projects.

These being said, I think I'll day 1 PO the two.
