If they are going for accuracy, they fail big time. That hair style is not a common hairstyle among the samurai lol. That is just what people, who thinks samurais are so cool but know nothing about the culture, thinks samurai hairstyle looks like.
I don’t care for samurai accuracy. We’ve got Harley on scooter and Catwoman on motorcycle. The samurai accuracy is the last thing they are going for. I just want the statue to look stylish, which this alternate portrait fails to do.
