I had thought that the powers Pietro received from the mists had something to do with time shifting....not so much running....

anyone else remember something like that?

not exactly a comic question, but a question that is comic related and has always mystified me:

how is it that in Batman movies, before Bruce wayne puts on the cowl, he has nothing around his eyes but as soon as he puts on the cowl, his has black surrounding his eyes??

i think he (Bale) has been shown wiping off black grease or make up from under around his eyes...I think it's just assumed that he applies that before putting the mask on.

It's an emergency and you just throw on your cowl. I don't think you have time to put on make up LOL.

Plus there are plenty of scenes in the pre-nolan films where it shows him actually putting on the cowl without make up.

Okay, had a feeling, but did some digging of my own

From current X Factor Series #9......

Guido picks up Pietro and threatens to "put him down like a rabid dog"

Quicksilver replies with:

"Thanks to the Terrigen mists of the Inhumans...I'm able to restore mutants powers with my touch alone."
"However I don't know what would happen if I used that touch on someone who still has powers such as you. Perhaps nothing"

Next Panel:

"Or perhaps you might explode into a million pieces. I would hate to find out."

Didn't Pietro get his running abilities back

It was in a One shot.

If anyone can cite specifically when/where/how Quicksilver got his speed back, I'd love to see it. I just don't think it happened. I think he just popped in the Avengers series all re-speedied-up without explanation.
