Hey man. You forgot the PIMS CUP.

This was a huge hit back in the day in NH when I was a bartenderman.

I had one on Father's Day at one of the oldest Taverns in the US (Middleburg, VA) and I forgot how awesome they were!

Ingredients

* Ice cubes
* 2 ounces Pimms Number 1 Cup
* 6 ounces ginger ale
* 2 ounces lemon lime soda or club soda
* 1/4 cup cucumber pieces or 1 cucumber spear

Directions

Put ice in a highball glass or mug. Add the Pimms and then the ginger ale and soda. Stir and garnish with cucumber. Serve.

Oh, and the MINT JULIP is always a Summer pleaser.

Can't forget Sangria.

Here's one for the 4th of July:

Ingredients
1 750ml bottle fruity white wine
1/3 cup sugar
3/4 cup apricot-flavored brandy
6 tbsp thawed lemonade concentrate
1 cup sliced red grapes
1 cup whole strawberries
1 cup sliced purple (blue colored) grapes
1 cup blueberries

Mix together the white wine, sugar, brandy and lemonade until well mixed.

Add in the red grapes, strawberries, purple grapes and blueberries. Refrigerate overnight.

Serve the next day from a large pitcher filled with ice. The items create a red and blue set of colors floating in a "white" drink!

Love a Pims Cup and a Mint Julep. I believe I have them in the regular recipes section. I grow tons of mint and enjoy Juleps on a regular bases. I wanted to put up coolers that are a bit off the beaten track. Where were you a barman? Do you ever go to Martin's Tavern in G-Towne? that's a great old bar.

On my site, I have a recipe for a peach julep that is perfect for July. Peaches are great this year, especially the White.

Me too. Mint grows like weeds in my garden. Come back every year.

I worked at Land and Sea Restaurant in Concord, NH. Also worked for Master Bartenders Academy in Manchester, NH as a teacher, and worked for a catering temp agency.

In VA I worked at Champions in Herndon, VA.

No, I don't get out too much any more. Not worth it to toss back a couple cocktails and try to get outta G-Town. Used to like going to Murphy's in Alexandria though.

You should fan my site on FB. There's a connection on my main page. I have almost 5000 fb fans now and having been a bartender, your input and advice would be welcome. I have a couple friends here, from SF that like cocktails enough to have joined. It's a fun place.

My Halloween drink & music picks are up on my classic cocktail site. This year I used only my horror-themed statues as props. Tell me what you think.

Protector, I"m not on Facebook anymore, but I still check out Mr. Booze.

The pics were great! And in my head, Vincent Price was providing the drink commentary.
