Which Venom?

EDIT: I MEANT TO PUT THE SECOND OPTION AS XM BUT CANT CHANGE IT

As much as I love my Prime1 Venom, this XM is looking more and more attractive.

I'm about 85% ready to pull the trigger but wanted to get some opinions

vs

Prime 1

+ Symbiote Tendrils have an 'alive' effect due to the glossier blacks
+ Shark Teeth Portrait is most organic, but the rage portait looks great
+ He definitely has presence
+ The water effects are awesome
+ Sculpt/Paint are top notch

- Upper/Lower Body dis-proportioned.
- Not a fan of the clear spider webs
- A little too beastly.

XM:

+ Love the story it tells
+ Overall, all the portraits look good
+ Power/Presence
+ Awesome Base

-Skin is overtextured
- McFarlane Portait looks good but smooth skin clashes with overtexture on rest of the body
- Rage Portrait looks organic, but still not feeling the green slime.

I’ll be honest I have issues with both but between the two I think the xm piece is better imo

Although I think I like the XM one slightly more, I voted P1 from your list of Pros and Cons.

I voted XM because I think your cons for P1 are more substantial (not liking the body proportions IMO trumps skin texture).

I’ve never liked Prime1’s body proportions. Huge upper body with tiny lower body. I guess if he was displayed by himself it’d be ok. But doesn’t go well with the more realistic proportions of my Sideshow collection. So XM for sure.

Man ...talk about picking one of two evils.

I've had it with overly textured symbiote on Venom. I pick Prime 1 Venom only because the texture is nicer and pose is better. The XM Venom has proportions issues too ...although not so obvious. But that texture is the worse.

Definitely the XM sans all the tendrils. I've actually grown to hate the P1 because of all the tendrils and because of his enormous upper body compared to his smaller lower body.

XM Venom for me too. Ordered mine.

And honestly the more I see it the more I am glad I purchased him.
