Indeed, the paint treatment is one of the key features of this piece. A lot of "free hand" paint work (with brush) on it, which is insanely difficult to do.

Unfortunately, there is no way to make a statue of this scale and level of quality, with this type of paint work and edition size at any other price point, if we want to continue as a business. It's impossible.

The very low edition size, large diorama-like nature and "freehand" paint work of this piece contribute to the high production value of this art statue.

Also, let's not forget that this is an official collaboration with the artist (Skinner) and we pay generous royalties to the artist on top of it all.

House of Gog collectors also support the artist.
